Honda is the eighth largest automobile manufacturer in the world. They have been dominating the industry in many countries and have been successful in Malaysia as well. Currently Honda sells around 9 models in Malaysia including Accord, Type R, City, Civic, CR-V, Jazz, Odyssey, and BR-V.
The starting price for a Honda is at RM70,242 (Jazz). Honda HR-V is the brand’s latest addition and will be launched in Malaysia by 14 November 2018. Recently Honda Malaysia sold its 300,000th City model in Malaysia and snatched the number one spot in the B-segment sedan model.
Mazda is another automobile manufacturer that boasts of an excellent sales record across the world. As the 15th largest automaker in the world, Mazda is one of the preferred brands in Malaysia as well. The following models are currently sold in the Malaysian market – Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda6, Mazda CX-3, Mazda CX-5, Mazda CX-, Mazda BT-50, and Mazda MX-5.
The two new Mazda models that have been launched in the recent past are Mazda CX-8, a 7-seater SUV and a new Mazda 6 SKYACTIV-D, a diesel powered sedan. Mazda2 is the brand’s base model which starts from RM87,000.
Perodua is Malaysia's largest automobile manufacturer. The company had its highest sales record in 2016 when they managed to sell more than 207,100 cars. One of the reasons people opt for Perodua cars is as they are affordable. The company's model, Axia, starts from just RM22,990. The other models manufactured by the brand are Bezza, Alza, and Myvi.
Currently, Perodua is speeding up the production and delivery of their latest model Myvi.
