A. Yes, you are allowed to convert your conventional housing loan to the CIMB HomeFlexi Smart-i. By opting for the same, you can get a 100% stamp duty waiver on the financing amount.

A. These is no maximum allowed entry age for the financing package. However, the maximum allowed age at the time of maturity is 70 years.
Q. Does the financing package require me to bring a guarantor to the application process?
A. You might require bringing a guarantor to the application process of CIMB HomeFlexi Smart-i if the bank asks you to do the same. The bank will perform a credit assessment and ask for a guarantor accordingly. Unless the bank asks you to bring a guarantor, you are not required to bring a guarantor to the process.
Q. Is there a monthly maintenance fee I will be charged with this scheme?
A. No, you will not be charged with any monthly maintenance fee or any set-up fee with this financing package.
Q. Is it mandatory to opt for the takaful protection with CIMB HomeFlexi Smart-i scheme?
A. No, it’s not mandatory to opt for the takaful protection coverage with the scheme. But it is highly recommended for you to take the protection coverage to be secured against unfortunate events during the financing scheme’s tenure.
Q. Can I make an early settlement on the remaining financing amount?
A. Yes, you can make an early settlement on the remaining financing amount of this financing package. You will be charged with an early settlement fee in such a case.
Q. Is there an advantage of opting for the early settlement with this facility?
A. Yes, based on the duration of unutilised tenure of the facility, you will be entitled to a rebate (Ibra’) with the early settlement of the scheme.
