CIMB Variable Home Financing-i for PR1MA Homes is a financing scheme that is offered to the customers who have received an offer to purchase residential properties from PR1MA (1Malaysia People’s Housing Programme) Malaysia. The scheme offers financing margin of up to 100% and lets you make the repayment over a flexible tenure.

The financing is available for completed residential properties as well as under construction properties. It comes with a maximum of 100% margin of financing and flexible range of tenures.
Q. What are the properties covered under the Special PR1MA End Financing package?
A. The package covers the properties whose valuation is from RM100,000 to RM400,000.
Q. Is it compulsory for me to get the Takaful cover if I’m applying for this facility?
A. No, it is not compulsory for you to opt for the takaful contribution if you’re applying for this scheme. But, you are recommended to sign up for the takaful protection to protect yourself against any unfortunate events during the scheme’s duration.
Q. Am I required to bring a guarantor to the application process of CIMB Variable Home Financing-i for PR1MA Homes scheme?
A. The requirement of a guarantor for the process is subject to your credit assessment performed by the bank. Unless the bank requires you to be accompanied with a guarantor, you are not required to bring a guarantor to the application process.
Q. Can I pay off the entire outstanding financing repayment amount before the completion of the facility’s tenure?
A. Yes, you can opt to pay off the entire outstanding amount before the maturity of this financing package.
Q. What is the process of settling the outstanding balance before the scheme’s maturity?
A. When you opt to settle the outstanding amount before the facility’s maturity, you are required to pay the monthly profit charges as well as an early settlement fee if applicable. However, you will also be entitled to a rebate (Ibra’) in such a case which would be decided by the bank.
