    Payment Plans

    Flexipay Plus

    • Convert your card purchases to an instalment plan at a low interest-rate of 7.88% p.a.
    • The minimum amount of any purchase must be RM500.
    • The repayment period is 12 months.
    • Apply for Flexipay Plus through online banking.
    • Convert the purchase into Flexipay Plus within one month from the transaction date.

    Flexi-On-Balance Plus

    • Convert your outstanding balance on credit card into an instalment plan.
    • The minimum amount to convert is RM500.
    • Choose from a repayment period of 6, 9, 12 or 18 months.
    • Specify the conversion amount in your application.
    • Withdraw extra cash on your card at a low-interest rate of 9.88% p.a.
    • Choose from a flexible repayment period of 12, 18, 24, 36, 48 or 60 months.
    • Apply up to 100% of your credit limit. Approval is based on bank’s discretion.
    • Minimum amount to apply is RM1,000.
    • Pay a one-time cash advance fee of 2% of total amount when withdrawing RM1,000 up to RM9,999.

    Balance Transfer Plans

    • Repayment period is 12, 18, 24 or 36 months.

    Activation or Cancellation


    • Activate your card through phone banking.

    Lost Card Liability

    • The maximum liability of lost or stolen card will not exceed RM250.
    • This is subject to you notifying the theft or loss to the bank immediately and not indulging in fraud of any sort.

    You will receive your card statement every month through the post.

    Online Banking

    • View your latest card statements online.
    • Click on “Transactional History” under “Cards” and input the time period for the transactions.
    • You can view the current and previous 2 months card statements online.

    eStatements and eAdvices

    • Register for eStatements and eAdvices facility through online banking.
    • Click on settings to verify your email address and click on “Change Subscription” to receive card statement through email.

    Increase or Decrease Credit Limit

    • Call up the bank to put in the request for increase or decrease of your credit limit.
    • Approval is subject to the bank’s discretion based on your transaction history and annual income.

    • Fill in an online application form with relevant details such as your personal details and employment details. Attach the supporting documents to the completed form and submit it online.

    Q. Is there an interest-free period available on these credit cards?

    A. Yes. These credit cards offer a 20-day interest-free period only on retail transactions. However, this interest-free period is only applicable if the outstanding dues from previous months are paid in full.

    Q. How can I redeem the cashback on my card?

    A. You can choose to redeem your cashback in 2 ways. You can choose to transfer your cashback to your card account.  Or you can choose to redeem your cashback for any rewards available on rewards site.

    Q. Do I need to register to redeem my reward points?

    A. Yes. To redeem your rewards points, you have to register and log in to the rewards site. However, you can browse the rewards catalogue and get additional information on the site without the need for registration or login.

    Q. Can I pay my card bills online through international fund transfer?

    A. Yes. You can pay your card bills through immediate, future transfer or scheduled payment modes online. Click on card payment through online banking and select your card. Select minimum, full or outstanding amount. Enter banking details. Confirm and submit to make a payment.

    Q. Can I pay my credit card bill with a foreign currency cheque?

    A. Yes. You can pay your card bill through a foreign currency cheque. You will be charged RM53 for each cheque payment.

    Q. Can I transfer my reward points to others?

    A. Yes. You can transfer your rewards points to a maximum of 5 nominated persons who have a Standard Chartered credit card with 360 rewards points programme. You have to pay a transfer fee of RM10.60 for every 50,000 reward points transferred. However, there is no fee for points transfer between the primary and supplementary cards.

    Q. Is there a penalty fee if I exceed my credit limit?

    A. Yes. You will be charged RM53 if you exceed your credit limit.

    Q. Is the minimum monthly payment same for Flexipay Plus or Balance Transfer Plus?

    A. No. The minimum monthly payment for Flexipay Plus and Balance Transfer Plus is the full instalment amount each month. Any partial payment under these schemes will attract penalty charges.
